Today I am sharing a guest post by a lovely “momprenuer”, her name is Grace, she has two kids under 7 and a small business to manage. She knows how hard it can be to balance between your home chores and your business, but she has a few tricks up her sleeve that she has managed through her own experience. She is based in London and her company provides end of tenancy clean acton, but the most reliable help comes from her own family.

For many years, all around the world, it is assumed that the cleaning is to be done by the woman. However, more and more women are starting to work and may not have the time to cook, clean AND go to work. Listen to me moms, It is ok to ask for help! And is ok to ask help from others and even includes the “littlest” people in your family.

Sometimes cleaning can be a tedious household chore, especially if you are a child. This is why it is important for everyone to pitch in and do their share. I’m going to give some suggestions how to turn cleaning into something much more pleasant, even into a game, so that everyone at home can take their part in maintaining the house clean.

Who will clean the mess?

Use Different wordage:

Loads of parents ask their children to help them cleaning using the ‘wrong words’. If you change the name of the household chore you want done into something funnier, the child will be entertained and interested. For instance, you can rename dusting the shelves into car racing. Now that you have your child’s attention, you can proceed further and explain to him what this is all about.

Cleaning Ideas:

You can use your imagination greatly and create a whole new world. You can pretend that the duster is a sports car that needs to race on the shelves and remove the magical dust that prevents the shelf from breathing. In this case, end of tenancy clean acton guarantees that the child is going to concentrate on playing the game and the chances that he will ask you to clean more shelves is quite high. Of course, this scenario can only be applied if you have a child who is very enthused with cars.

The above-mentioned method focuses on more physical activity and it is for younger children. In order to spark enough interest in all of the members in the family, you can make up your own cleaning game. For instance, if you are expecting guests this weekend and you would like everyone to clean their room, you can make a competition and announce that the person that manages to clean the most will get a prize. You can prepare a small prizes for everyone, based on their personal preferences and a big prize, which you can keep a secret.

Also, you can hide some witty labels or inside family jokes in different places around the house. In this way, they would all be motivated to clean. They will think of strategies on how to clean more than the others, for example; what would be the big prize, maybe how and why mom came up with this idea. Moreover, when the cleaning is done, you can give small prizes to everyone to show gratitude and appreciation. Everyone would be delighted and even thrilled. The big prize is highly recommended to be something for the whole family that you usually enjoy doing together. For instance, eating at that favourite restaurant or making a pizza.

Some people might think that this requires too much efforts to make the children or other members of the family help with the cleaning. This is true,  it does require effort, however it is not very hard for us to walk that extra mile in order to make people happy and to make life extra ordinary.  It is up to us to make every moment pleasant. Because happiness is in the small moments, while cleaning under your bed and finding a note that says ‘See, I’ve always told you there isn’t any monsters here’ or for those of you with younger children, you can include a little drawing instead. Even the littlest things, that show initiative, time, and love can really  park a desire to clean and make your child’s day.

If you’re in the London area, or know someone who is need of cleaning expert for end of tenancy cleaning, then I’d recommend grace to help take care of your all your cleaning needs. To learn more about Grace and her business you can check her out in the above pink link.
