April blog traffic and May goals

Hey y’all, this month I will be going over my April blog traffic and May goals. I’m doing this because I am trying to hold myself accountable and I thought I could share with other bloggers. Plus, It’s so important to have goals otherwise you aimlessly walk through life. All throughout high school and college I had a planner, I wrote my assignments and my to-dos, and daily goals. And to be honest, if I don’t have daily, weekly, or monthly goals I pretty much fall apart. Have goals so you can have a target to shoot for.

April blog traffic and May goals

Last month was a really good month, on the first you can see one of my posts had about 600 views in one day. I posted The 5 reasons family and friends may be your worst supporters, in a crafting group and it got a ton of views which was exciting. Towards the middle of the month I took a blogging break. I am still kind of taking a blogging break at the moment, but figured I better at least write a couple of blog posts.

What I did in April:

In April, I started trying to be more active in Facebook group niches, I also started trying to revamp all my old blog post photos. I went over and edited some of my blog posts as well.

I have been creating freebies in my spare time- none of which are up yet. But maybe this month (May).

I took quite a long blogging break in April, I started to feel overwhelmed and stressed with all the blogging, advertising, networking. So I decided I would take a break for however long I need to.

I began focusing on my Etsy shop again. I started rebranding my entire shop in February because I was going in a new direction. So, I’ve been sewing up new products. Mainly zipper pouches and wristlets.

To-do’s for May

Considering this blog post should have been written at least a week ago, I’m not too sure. But, I know one thing is for sure- I plan to take it easy this month and add new blog posts when I feel like it.
