March Blog Goals and February Review:

Hey y’all, this month I will be going over my March blog goals and February review. I’m doing this because I am trying to hold myself accountable and I thought I could share with other bloggers. Plus, It’s so important to have goals otherwise you aimlessly walk through life. All throughout high school and college I had a planner, I wrote my assignments and my to-dos, and daily goals. And to be honest, if I don’t have daily, weekly, or monthly goals I pretty much fall apart. Have goals so you can have a target to shoot for.

So, before I get into my March blog goals, I like to review the previous month and see if my goals were met. below is a little snapshot of my numbers in relation to social media followers:

Facebook: 262
Pinterest: 468
Instagram: 409
Page views: 970
Pinterest collab: 2

My top popular posts:

1.Effective ways to raise planet-loving kids.
2. February blog posts.
3. Ideas to turn cleaning into a fun game for young children.

FEBRUARY REVIEW:

Winnings: I got to publish 2 guest posters on my blog this month. My first guest poster this month was by Grace, she is a mother and also a business owner. She wrote a blog post titled: “Ideas to turn cleaning into a fun game for young children” if you’ve got little ones this post is for you. I also had another guest poster named Marie Nieves, she wrote a post titled; “Effective ways to raise planet- loving kids” something that is truly important in our current society. Both guest posters had excellent topics! Check out their posts in the above links.

I was added to 2 Pinterest boards! yay.

My Instagram goals were met. I wanted to exceed to 400 followers and I did. Woot!
Actually I pretty much met all my social media goals for gaining followers, which is pretty great.
Fails, I didn’t release my couponing series, because I have a few ideas floating in my head-about how I will introduce it to you guys. I also didn’t open my etsy shop up yet ::sigh::. I have finished rebranding my page on Etsy. But, have yet to decide when the opening will be.

Overall I am very pleased with this month. I didn’t get to post as much as I wanted, but it was still a good month.

MARCH BLOG GOALS

This month I would like to reach 1,000 page views and reach 500 followers or more on my Pinterest account.

I am coming up with a bunch of new blog post ideas and have been slowly revamping my site, maybe you’ve noticed that nifty slider on my home page or the hoover messages on my landing page when you pass over “About me” or “Contact me”, pretty cool, huh? I mean if you’re on a desk top you can see it.

This past month (Feb) I have realized more than EVER. How important it is to have a newsletter. Having a domain name is amazing, but having a newsletter and subscribers allows me to get to a little more personal with you. An email list isn’t controlled by algorithms, its something that is mine and its something I get to make into anything, which is the beautiful part.

I want to focus all my attention to creating a newsletter, but blogging seems to pull me in so many different directions, its so hard to choose which one to move. Do YOU ever feel that way?
Any who, Im going to keep this short and sweet because I have like 30 blog post ideas I’ve written down. Now off to brainstorm a little deeper, until next time y’all.
